PRESCHOOL

Our preschool, (ages 2.5 to 4 years) revolves around three main play areas; the cognitive area, which has floor and table toys, a book area and a computer as well as teacher directed activities; the arts and craft areas, which stock a variety of paints, papers, glues, textured and modelling materials and include sand and water play; and the gross motor areas involving blocks, rocking boat, climber and music and movement. Your child will have a variety of activities which he/she can choose from during free-play time as well as group activities. We incorporate some major field trips as well as neighbourhood outings into our program. Examples include Norwood Park and wading pool, the Glen Manor nature trail, Ted Reeve’s skating arena and the library. Our goal is to provide a stimulating program that challenges each child at his or her own developmental level.

My daughters and I love this daycare. Wonderful staff, great outdoor space, and food made by the amazing cook, Val. We’ve been there for three years and really appreciated everything the staff does for our girls.
